We are the Reticulites of a secret society called P.S. If you are observant and curious enough to have found this site, you have discovered a pathway that may lead to greater mysteries and knowledge.

In 1896, the founding members of P.S. discovered a room that contained an incredible entity called the parasite and 121 unique objects. This room has appeared only once every eleven years, on or near the University of Chicago campus. P.S. formed to protect and study the parasite and the remarkable objects contained within this room. Though we cannot explain the parasite to the uninitiated, we consider it the greatest treasure that the world has never seen.

Currently, in 2017, after eleven years of latency, the parasite might appear once again. However, now that 121 years have passed since the first appearance, many of us believe that it may have run its course. The only possibility to save the entity is to generate a change of unprecedented scale. We cannot accomplish that change ourselves. Thus, we have scattered the 121 objects out in the world, both online and across the University of Chicago. Each of you is likely to have your own way of understanding this process. You might call it an assemblage, a test, an experiment, a disruption, or a game. Regardless, if you connect with other Seekers, such as yourself, discover all 121 objects, and return them to the RUUN, we might still have a chance of saving the parasite.

We are reaching out to you through multiple platforms. Our existence is not secret but our deeper purpose remains so to anyone but our Initiates. If you can find your way to us, you will learn more and have the choice to continue down this path. We will give you the next piece of public information on September 17, 2017. We wish you luck but remain open to various outcomes. One thing is certain: the future of the parasite depends on you.

Through the ingenuity of early Seekers, some of you have already discovered information about P.S. and the parasite that we originally intended to keep secret. In the interest of a shared world, we have decided to make all of this information available here. To begin, we have been made aware that Seekers and other parties have created a Discord communication channel (which can lead to other group chats established by the Seekers), a historical interview with a P.S. member, and a Facebook page on which the Reticulites have been misnamed.
